thoughts on a masquerade

What to wear behind my mask at the Masquerade Ball was another conundrum I had with Dragon*Con. With the limitations there was only going to be so much I'd be able to show and have an impact, which forced me to try another trick I'd seen a guru use. Sparkle!

I applied the gems with lash glue to the top and bottom of my eyes and I have to admit I love it. It's just so different from what I usually do and provides just the right amount of pop. The eyeshadow underneath is actually not that difficult, with a transition between gold-silver-gold and on the lid with dark browns to shape the crease and outer 'V'.
