NM Sale Picks - Aug 2017

So I realize that my theme/goal for the year has been shopping thoughtfully and responsibly, and honestly, except for a few hiccups, I think I've done that. BUT WHY HAS THE INTERNET BEEN LETTING ME SLEEP ON NEIMAN MARCUS'S SALE SECTION? I know, I know, "Nordstrom Anniversary Sale", blah blah blah, but these are some of the best deals I've seen on designer items in a while, and I feel like I would be failing in my duty as your friend not to share some of my favorites with you.

As a caveat, I am aware that very few - if any - of these items would truly be considered "cheap". At the moment I'm drawn to a much simpler silhouette that can hopefully stay in my closet for years to come, and higher quality in my experience just seems to come at a higher price point.  All that to say, instead of looking at any of the items on this list as a "must-buy", consider browsing with an eye for what you were already thinking your closet might need anyway, and trying a slightly higher price point if you're interested.
