First, welcome to December! I've been listening to Christmas music since Halloween and decorated my apartment the weekend of my birthday, but now the rest of you (who want to) can feel comfortable joining me in the overabundance of holiday spirit.

Look out world, Dana has a new pair of pants.

They're a linen blend, slightly wrinkle prone, and one of the comfiest things to wear ever.

Fall has descended upon DC (yay!) and the wind on Saturday was not playing around. Trying to find a spot to take photos that was 1) secluded, and 2) out of the wind, proved to be impossible. In the end I just leaned into it and tried my best to keep my hair under control, lol.

Also, looking at these photos has left me with a question: are people actually belting overalls? Like for real? Because I can't imagine the awful things it would do to my proportions to even try.

As weird as it is to say it, or even really to think it, I kind of feel like this post is very "classic" Good Red Herring. It's got my favorite "not-looking-at-the-camera" poses and features some pieces that have been well loved over the years.

I also strangely want to call this the closest I've ever come to an Atlantic Pacific post, which is granting myself a LOT of airs I don't deserve, but this outfit was strongly influenced by things I've seen her wear on her blog. It's like she's in my brain!

Sometimes you find a sweater hanging in the sale section and you just know the universe is looking out for you.
